This is the spirit and aspiration of the DharmaMind Buddhist Group.


The DharmaMind Group meets weekly and monthly in Birmingham, UK. We meet at the Friends Meeting House in Kings Heath for our monthly meetings, with the weekly meetings being held in David's house also in Birmingham. Details for both venues and events can be found below.

The group will also be holding retreats in 2010 at various locations in the UK and Ireland. Please check regularly for updates and any new events for you to come along and attend. "The Nature of Mind" Monthly Day Retreat 

The monthly day retreats in Birmingham are the foundation and heart of the group whereby those Dharma practitioners who feel commited to the group make every effort to attend regularly. We meet at the Friends House on the last Saturday of the month with the day consisting of periods of meditation and a lengthy period of Dharma discussion. The discussion focuses not just on our experiences of our meditation practice but more crucially on how to bring the practice into daily life thus creating the spiritual environment for the Dharma to arise and transform.

We gather by 9.00am and start promptly at 9.30am with no admission after 9.15am. We finish at 5pm. Tea and biscuits provided but bring your own lunch. Cost £15/10 concession.

If you have some experience of meditation and are interested in coming along to one of our meetings you are most welcome. Please arrive at the advertised time or contact David at enquiries@dharmamind.net if you require further details.
